About

Bootstrap Maryland is a not-for-profit group that brings together young entrepreneurs and the necessary tools for running a lean and successful technology business. We want to see Maryland, DC, and Virginia flourish with innovation.

Jared Goralnick

Bootstrap Maryland was created and is organized by Jared Goralnick.   You can read more about Jared on his blog Technotheory.com or find him on Twitter. He founded SET Consulting in 2002 and AwayFind in 2008, and hopes to see more and more innovation in the greater DC region.

Paul Singh

Paul Singh is Bootstrap Maryland's co-organizer. He founded MailFinch in 2009 and a handful of other local startups over the past ten years. You can read more about him on his blog ResultsJunkies.com or find him on Twitter. University of Maryland

The University of Maryland has been extremely helpful with putting our first event on. The Dingman Center and the Hinman CEO program are two examples of entrepreneurial education, and we hope that the Bootstrap Maryland Conference will be a complementary and frequent addition. To truly grow the entrepreneurial community in this region, we need the business and university community to work together.
